Acer has recently launched its latest range of
gaming laptops in India which are now available for purchase. There will be
multiple versions of the laptop available with i5 processors as well as AMD
Ryzen 4000 series. The 4000 series is the latest from AMD which is an octa-core
processor and offers blistering performance leaving the Intel processors a lot
to catch up on. The laptop series features the latest hardware from Intel and
AMD, both.
The laptop is certainly not the best looking
out there but there more to judge that just its looks. This is a solid
affordable gaming laptop which is better looking than its previous generation.
The screen of the laptop has been improved from before with a 120 and 144 MHz
display. The screen, however, wobbles a bit if you type aggressively. The
screen performs well under pressure and is great for gaming sessions. The
exterior design of the laptop is a bit flashier than the last years, outgoing
model while it maintains that red and black look for the overall design of the
laptop. The laptop has undergone some thermal improvements this year with twin
fans, additional heat vents, and exhaust ports that offer better ventilation
system by 25% over the previous year’s model.
It comes with WiFi 6 connectivity options and
Killer Ethernet E2600 which makes the laptop a bit future proof as well. The
laptop comes with USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI 2.0, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and
an ethernet port.
The laptop performs well under pressure and is
an affordable package of a gaming laptop. There are however a few niggles like
too much fan noise and lacklustre battery life. So if you’re looking for a
laptop that doesn’t offer disappointing performance but still doesn’t break
your bank, then the Acer Nitro 5 is a laptop worth checking out.
